I am a sole practicioner. I maintain carraige of the my client’s causes. My clients entrusted me to represent the their interest. I do not delegate these interests to juniors or paralegals. There will be occassions in which agents, counsel and experts will be retained to assist and attend to various aspects of a client matter. My authority to retain such agents, counsel and experts is a necessary and implied term of the retainer of a solicitor.  These persons may assist, but I will continue to be responsble to my client throughout, unless other arrangements are made. It is important to my clients and it is important to me, that my clients can reach me and be informed by me regarding the matters in which I have been retained.
